17th Century wood carved statue of St Anne.

This is by far the oldest wood item we have restored. It is a family heirloom that our customer had inherited from her parents. She really wanted to display it again and have it rest in her home. Due to the fact we had never worked on such an item we were apprehensive and began setting expectations with the customer. After many hours of very careful restoration the final outcome was beyond all expectations. Please see the before, during and after photos below along with our customer review.

Mark Ryan seems like a very knowledgeable and talented craftsman who is dedicated and takes pride in doing the job right. He also demonstrated that he will use research and creative problem-solving to resolve a unique problem or to repair a unique piece. He was timely and efficient, and he gave great value for the price.

I like that he took ownership of the projects and tasks that he took on. He was professional but friendly—a good combination for someone dealing with special belongings in one’s home.
